Terms of Service

Effective date: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GroceryGETr mobile application, websites, and related services (the "Service") provided by GroceryGETr ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@grocerygetr.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

2. The Service

GroceryGETr provides shopping list management, list sharing, coupon and deal discovery, meal planning, loyalty program organization, store mapping, and optional location-based arrival alerts. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

3. Coupons, Deals, and Savings

• Coupons and deals shown in the app are offers made by brands and retailers, not by us. Redemption is subject to the issuer's own terms, availability, and expiration dates.
• Savings estimates and "matched coupon" suggestions are provided for convenience and are not guarantees of price or availability at any store.
• Online deals may open third-party websites through affiliate links; purchases on those sites are governed by the third party's terms, and we may earn a commission.

4. Purchases

• Remove Ads (in-app purchase). A one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple or Google. Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies. Use "Restore Purchases" to re-enable the purchase on a new device signed in to the same store account.
• Brand partner services. Coupon placement, per-clip billing, and featured sponsorships for brand partners are governed by the partner terms presented in the Partner Portal and invoiced through Stripe.

5. Location Features

Arrival alerts require location permissions, including background location, which you may grant or revoke at any time in your device settings. Location features are provided "as is": detection timing and accuracy depend on your device, operating system, and environment. Do not interact with the app while driving.

6. Shared Lists

When you share a list, anyone with the link can view it and contribute items and notes. You are responsible for whom you share links with and for the content added to your lists. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to probe, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harmful;
• Misrepresent coupon or clip activity, or interfere with partner billing;
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (lists, notes, photos). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including showing shared lists to people you share them with.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by GroceryGETr and protected by intellectual property laws. Brand names and logos shown with coupons belong to their respective owners and are displayed for identification only; their appearance does not imply endorsement.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13) survive.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY COUPON WILL BE HONORED BY A RETAILER.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROCERYGETR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GroceryGETr from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GroceryGETr is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that state, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
